The resolution of highly contested custody, and parenting disputes, child and spousal support claims, the expeditious division of family property and the preparation of separation agreements, cohabitation agreements, marriage contracts and divorce are Joyce's specialty.

  • Draft all documents and agreements
  • Work with opposing counsel to resolve your case
  • Mediate matters
  • Obtain all expert advice and retain expert reports and valuations
  • Attend at interlocutory motions
  • Bring urgent matters to court when required
  • Maintain focus on children’s best needs
  • Settle your case

WILLS AND ESTATES

Joyce will take your instructions for the preparation of a will and a power of attorney. All adults should have a will. It is extremely important for parents, separating and divorcing spouses, and the elder to prepare a will and power of attorney.

Should you die while your children are under the age of majority you can provide instructions in your will on your choice of caregivers and guardians.

Should you die without a will the Succession Law Reform Act will determine how your estate is divided.

Preparation of a Power of Attorney provides your chosen attorney(s) with authority to act should you become incapacitated. They will make decisions for you regarding your medical care and finances.
